RPDC's Vision
Every Singaporean will be aware of the seriousness of
incineration and join RPDC in the quest to stop incineration and to
cultivate the habit to reuse, reduce and recycle as a way of life.
LPO
Established in 1991, Recycling Point Dot Com is encouraging
recycling by offering LPO (Loyalty Programme Offer) for e-redemption
of shopping vouchers, free personal accident insurance coverage and
dividends (additional bonus points after each year). The more you
recycle, the more recycling points will be accumulated and
additional bonus points you can expect after each year. This LPO is
limited to 5,000 (individual or corporate) applicants only.
CEO's Statement
It has been another successful recycling year for RPDC. We have
seen an increase in the number of participants that register in our
recycling programme throughout the years. We have decided that we
should take this opportunity to increase our chance of success by
offering the LPO to 5,000 applicants. The LPO costs nothing but
earns a dividend (additional bonus points after each year) for each
applicant.
RPDC
has never depended on traditional Internet revenue streams such as
advertising or transaction fees. Since 1991, our core business
areas are in collecting and outsourcing recycling materials to many
major factories in Singapore and overseas.
With
the launch of the crime library portal to promote awareness and
prevent crimes, we sincerely hope to get the public's mandate to
recycle with us as well as to support our quest to stop incineration
and preservation of the environment.
Finally, we would like to thank all our participants and staff and
all those who have supported RPDC all these years, we look forward
to extend our horizon yet another year, and more.
OPERATIONS REVIEW
2001 was a year of rationalization of all activities and
businesses of the company and RPDC's area managers to set the
platform for future growth in Singapore. As the global market is
always in need of recycling materials such as wastepaper, ferrous
and non-ferrous scraps, used toner cartridges, used or old
computers, electronic scraps, office furniture and so forth. RPDC's
prospect is looking very healthy. As the saying goes, 'As long as
there is a human race, there will be human recyclable waste'.
FORECAST
AND OBJECTIVES

add another 40 Area Managers to its present size

increase its current warehouse size by another 10,000 sq. ft.

set up more transit stations for collection of waste in HDB areas
